Risen!! – 2018.04.02

Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen.
Matthew 28:5-6

Do not be afraid! this applies to those who seek Jesus, the Risen One. Now He is the LORD over all lords and armies. It is Him who sits at the right hand of God and to whom God has given all rule. HE is no longer the little sweet Jesus child in the manger or on Mary’s lap. HE is the most powerful and strongest force in heaven and on earth and in the whole universe. Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Saviour!
We stick to Jesus, because He is our protector. He is the good shepherd, faithful and loving, merciful and generous, friendly and patient. Why should we be afraid? What scares us? Aren’t those little things compared to His size? Do you really think he’s not doing anything to save His child? Even through death, HE will carry us, death can no longer harm us. He redeemed us even from the chains of sin; – can He not redeem us from other chains as well? No, fear is not appropriate for people who have entrusted themselves to this LORD.
It’ good that Jesus has risen! He went through death and made us a firm path on which we can also go through. He bought us out of the power of death. He never abandons us in life and death. HE keeps what he promises; – if only because he doesn’t want the enemy to triumph because of us. But even more because He loves us so much.
He has risen. All worship, all thanks, all praise now belongs to Him. For HE is the living LORD who takes care of every little thing. Even the little ants are not too small for Him! And we are much bigger….
He is risen, that is why we want to bow down before Him, just like the disciples at the empty tomb when they met Jesus. He really deserves praise and praise and all honour. He’s alive!!

Thank you, Jesus! You’re so wonderful!! Every day and always you help me, you think of every little thing! Yeah, I can totally count on you. Thank you for eradicating my sin and defeating death. Now I can live in safety, because you’re here.
