God’s Country – 2018.03.08

It’s a land that the Lord cares for: the Lord’s eyes are on it constantly from the first of the year until the very end of the year.
Deuteronomy 11:12

God has made many promises for the land of Canaan. If the Israelis hear to Him, He will bless the land and make it fertile, He will drive out the enemy, cease the wild beasts and provide rain and sun. Everything from the first of the year until the very end of the year, HE will regulate properly. Only His people should write His laws on their heart and soul and everywhere memories should be attached to the commandments of God and His commands should be told again and again. Also the children should grow up with it. It should be a beautiful, fertile land with cheerful, sincere people! God himself would keep His strong hand over the country.
This promise is still true. And it is also true for the people of God. He has built His kingdom and invites us to become citizens. He will watch over His kingdom, take care of it and bring it to bloom. How beautiful is it when His children praise Him, the king, and sing songs to Him! Then His power and glory is perceptible. How well, when the Spirit of God goes through everything and gives things a new life. Then joy is ruling! How wonderful when He pours out His peace, then there really is peace. Yes, God’s eyes rest on His land and the people that He has created for himself. His children He will bless and they shall be a blessing.
He just gives one warning: Don’t make yourself any other gods! Give no one room in your heart! Let only God be your father, king and ruler!

Thank you, Jesus, You are a wonderful king! You truly care about Your people, the children of God. You protect us and keep us from any evil. You care for us. You are everything to us – And we only adore You.
