God`s loving Eyes – 2018.02.07

Are not 2 sparrows sold for a penny?
Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father`s care.
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:29f.

In the camps we children used to sing before the meals:
“You who feed the little bird,
You feed me too, oh God!”
If you like you may add many other verses, for instance:
” You who know the little bird,
You know me too, oh God!”
“You, who love the little bird,
You love me too!, oh God!”
I can well imagine that God knows the name of each little bird, and many more the names of His children. He even calls them with lovable pet names. He looks at us with kind not punishing eyes. He wants the best for us!
Do you know somebody who loves you so much, that he counts all the hairs on your head and not a single hair is overlooked by Him which falls to the ground? He takes care of every little thing in our life. Every situation He wants to handle with us, to guide us and to solve it with us.
Right now the flu is plaguing me. I am terribly weak, can do nothing. But it is wonderful and consoling that the Lord is with me, that His loving care surrounds me.
So, when it gets serious, do not worry! Have faith and grasp it that you may be happy, lying in bed carefree even in severe flu time. Let yourself be pampered by Him! He likes if we are weak for in these moments His grace is greatest.

Thank You, Jesus, You are present! You surround me with Your power, peace, and love. You are just there for me. How wonderful to rest in Your peace. Thank you, that You are worried about everything, so that I really have peace, may rest and feel safe.
